Tripura 3rd to 14th October, 2023: From October 3rd to 14th, 2023, six National Cadet Corps (NCC) members of Don Bosco School Baijalbari (DBSC) participated in the training program for the combined annual training camp (CATC: 2023–2024). In total, six students from 32 schools across Tripura participated in this training session. Unit 13 Tripura, Bn. NCC, with assistance from NCC Group Headquarters Silchar and NCC Directorate NER Shillong, arranged the camp. Input sessions on "How to Join the Armed Forces, Health and Hygiene, Leadership, Social Service, Community Development, Motivational Talk, Postal Scheme by Indian Postal Service, RBI on Central Govt. Schemes, Rescue and First Aid during Natural Disasters, Traffic Rules, and Road Safety, personality development, civic sense and social etiquette, meditation, and yoga, among a wide range of other topics. The pupils gained a lot of knowledge from many team and individual events. Shooting was the most thrilling aspect of the training. Overall, discipline was emphasized heavily, and the kids also learned a lot about discipline in their daily lives.
