Agartala 27 August: On the 26th of August 2023, under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Babu Stephen Sdb, Rev. Fr. PJ. Joseph Sdb and all the Salesian Principals in the region of Tripura organised the ‘inter-school Don Bosco Quiz Competition’ at St. Xavier’s School Pathliaghat. All the Don Bosco schools in the Tripura region; Don Bosco Nandanagar, Don Bosco School Udaipur, Don Bosco School Bishramganj, Don Bosco School Nabasadar, Don Bosco school Bijalabari, Don Bosco School Pitra, Don Bosco School Herma and Don Bosco School Mandwi have come and participated for this competition. The Quiz was well organised and it was done through live streaming. Through this platform of live streaming many of the parents were able to watch this competition especially, the parents of students who have come from other schools. As we all know, ‘the ladder of success is never crowded at the top’ so also though they have come from different schools for this Don Bosco Quiz competition yet, only three schools managed to come forward in the position. We have Don Bosco Bishramganj School secured the 1st position, 2nd Don Bosco Baijalbari and 3rd Don Bosco Udaipur. It was indeed a good initiative taken by the Fathers to not only let the students study in our school but most importantly to let them know more about Don Bosco and his charism by way of Quiz competition, Concert etc.
