26th April 2024, Siaha: From April 24th to 26th, Don Bosco School hosted its Annual Sports event, showcasing the vibrant spirit of sportsmanship among students from the Primary to Higher Sections. Alongside, an Investiture Ceremony appointed Captains, Vice Captains, Class Monitors, and Assistant Monitors, instilling leadership values. On April 26th, Mr. T. Seido EM, representing Sports and Youth Services, Social Welfare Mara Autonomous District Council, graced the occasion as chief guest. He emphasized the importance of sports in youth development, advocating it as a deterrent to boredom and drug abuse. Accompanied by local dignitaries, he lauded the school's initiative and highlighted the physical benefits of sports. A local artist enthralled attendees with melodious Mara Language songs. Green House clinched the championship trophy amidst scorching weather, as students relished the competition. The event concluded with prize distribution, leaving all participants and spectators with cherished memories of camaraderie and achievement.
