24th May 2024, Germany: On May 24, 2024, the German province concluded the Provincial chapter in Benediktbeuern with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist on the feast of Our Lady, Help of Christians. During the ceremony, Cl. David Thongnibah also renewed his religious vows for another two years of his commitment. In his homily, the Provincial Fr. Reinhard Gesing, affirmed the community's joy over David's vocation to religious life and thanked him for his willingness to say "yes" to his vocation once again. The renewal of vows is an important moment in the life of a religious, as it expresses the desire to remain faithful to God's call and to dedicate one's life entirely to the service of the Gospel. After the mass, the community shared a meal together. In the evening, there was a short celebration of the feast in the community of Regensburg, where David belongs. This gathering allowed the religious community to further rejoice and give thanks for David's commitment to his vocation. The celebration was thus a sign of gratitude and encouragement for the young religious and the entire religious community.
