9th November 2024, Mawkyndeng: On November 9, 2024, St. Dominic's Higher Secondary School in Mawkyndeng organized a one-day spiritual retreat for its students ahead of their final examinations, scheduled for November 15. The retreat was led by Brother Quirinus Warkhyllew SB of SYM Nongstoin, along with Sir Babit Pariong, a teacher from St. Peter's School. A total of 530 Catholic students participated in the event. The speeches delivered during the retreat offered encouragement to students, focusing on their roles as Christians and citizens. The school principals expressed gratitude to SYM Nongstoin for its valuable contribution to the students' spiritual growth.
