Tripura 21 of July: On July 21, 2023, the Salesian confreres of Shillong province (Tripura region) gathered for a meeting along with the provincial at Don Bosco Nandannagar. The discussion during the meeting was about how the Tripura region is at present, especially how the work is progressing. It was claimed that all the communities were building buildings, so no community could contribute to what the region had planned. In the peace, it was less fun to run the work. There was also a discussion about money matters, wherein the provincial says that the Tripura region is making use of the money within the region itself for the development of the mission. The conferees also discussed the land issues at Bishramganj. The provincial declared that there will be a Tri- monthly recollection for all the Salesian working in the Tripura region, and during the recollection there will also be an opportunity to share about the mission work. Fr. Christopher was appointed to be in charge of the Clerics monthly recollection.
