Shillong 22 May: On 21st May, the Martin Luther Christian University, had organized a programme on the occasion of the International Day of Cultural Diversity. The programme was basically the launching of three new books published by the university. One of the books was Khasi Ethics authored by Fr. Barnes Mawrie. The release was done by Shri Malcolm Tariang, Pro-Chancellor of MLCU. He spoke highly of the book and called it a timely publication and congratulated the author. Fr. Barnes on his part delivered a brief speech outlining the genesis of the book and thanking the university for having honoured him with the publication of the book. He also expressed his satisfaction to know that this book has been made one of the text books of the university.
