Fr. Babu Stephen then introduced the topic and purpose of the meeting, highlighting key areas of discussion and the objectives to be achieved. At the very outset, Fr. K.K. Joseph SDB, the Rector of St. Xavier's Pathaliaghat, shared some important updates and information regarding the college land and St. Xavier’s School Pathaliaghat. Fr. Sunny spoke on the new land in Killa and the future mission over there. Fr. Remol shared some information on the new site in Damcherra and the possibilities of acquiring the land and beginning some pastoral care for the people over there.

The confreres had a lengthy discussion of almost two hours on various issues concerning our life and mission in Tripura. It was a very fruitful and lively meeting. All took part actively, contributing new ideas and suggestions to improve and standardize mission work.

The meeting ended at 7:00 PM, followed by the Holy Eucharist, presided over by Fr. Santreki Muliar SDB and concelebrated by Fr. Jitendis, Fr. Shanborlin, and the rest of the Salesian Fathers. The Mass was attended by Salesians, Salesian family member sisters, and the close collaborators of our mission especially Fr. Alwyn and AC sisters from Gokul Nagar.

The pre-novices of Herma enhanced the Eucharistic celebration with their lovely singing. After Mass, a short felicitation program for the new priests of the province, as well as birthday celebrations for Fr. Remol, Fr. Santreki, Bro. Bankit, and Bro. Purnojoy was held on the lawn, where Fr. Babu honored the new priests and birthday celebrants with a traditional Risa and a gift each. Dinner was accompanied by colorful dances and melodious songs performed by the pre-novices.

It was a wonderful evening, leaving everyone in the region happy and contented. Fr. Christopher Warlarphi SDB, the Rector of Agartala Don Bosco, proposed the vote of thanks. The gathering dispersed at 9:30 PM.
