Shillong March 2022: A tri-monthly recollection, for the Student Brothers and Practical Trainees of Tripura Region, was held on Saturday the 5th of March 2022 at Don Bosco Nandan Nagar. The recollection programme was coordinated by Father Babu Stephen and animated by Rev. Father M.A. Isaac SDB, the confessor of Bosco Home Herma. There were 7 brothers from 5 different communities of Tripura: Herma, Pathaliaghat, Nandan Nagar, Mandwi and Baijalbari took part in this recollection. The tri-monthly recollection began with words of welcome and introduction to the animator by Rev. Father Christopher Warlarphi SDB, the Rector and Parish-priest of Don Bosco Nandan Nagar. Thereafter Father Isaac began the recollection by the angelus and a short prayer.
Father Isaac spoke to the clerics on the importance of Eucharist in the life of Don Bosco. He dealt with various aspects of the Eucharist, which is the source of summit of our life. Father Isaac, through his many years of experience as a priest was able to guide and direct the brothers to understand the importance of Eucharist and how it helped Don Bosco to gain the strength that he needed for his mission. He further exhorted everyone to cultivate a special devotion and liking towards the Holy Eucharist which could bring about a transformation in our lives. After his talk, there were moments of personal prayer, recitation of Divine Mercy and Holy Rosary by the brothers. After which they had the Eucharistic adoration and the sacrament of confession. Tripura region would like to thank Father Isaac for willingly accepting the invitation to preach the tri-monthly recollection for the clerics of the region and sparing his valuable time for the spiritual growth of the brothers. We thank the community of Don Bosco Nandan Nagar for taking care of every detail of the recollection and providing the clerics with a wholesome dinner. God bless us all.
