A Two-day mega Science and Arts exhibition held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Siaha, Mizoram


Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, 5th and 6th October: Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Siaha, Mizoram, organized a two-day mega ‘Science and Arts Exhibition’ on 5th and 6th of October, 2023. The major objective of the exhibition was to create an opportunity for the students to exhibit the cultures and traditions of Mizoram as well as to showcase their talents and creativity. On both the days, the exhibition commenced with a short felicitation program for the chief guests. The chief guest of the first day was Rev. Fr. Dominic Ngul Than Tuang, the Parish Priest of Mary Help of Christians Parish, Siaha. The chief guest of the second day of the exhibition was Mrs. Elizabeth B Khaimichho, the Project Director of Agricultural Technology Management Agency of Siaha district of Mizoram. The students of classes IX and XI were grouped into four different houses, namely, Yellow House, Green House, Red House, and Blue House. These groups were allotted with different subjects to exhibit. Yellow House exhibited on Traditional Medicine and Food and Nutrition; Green House on Historical Monuments in Mizoram and Disaster Management; Red House on Traditional Artifacts and Renewable Energy; and Blue House on Traditional Games, songs and Dance and Waste Management. The students of the school, parents, guardians, and a number of schools from the neighborhood were invited to witness the exhibition. The exhibition received much appreciation from the invitees. It was definitely a learning experience for the exhibiters, the invitees, as well as for the teachers.
