VISIT OF FR. JOSEPH KANDULNA AND CELEBRATION OF HIS FIRST HOLY MASS IN BOSCO HOME HERMA

Herma, 16th June 2026: On the 16th of June 2026, the community of Bosco Home Herma was blessed to receive Fr. Joseph Kandulna, a newly ordained priest, to celebrate the Holy Eucharist for the community. His visit was a moment of great joy and thanksgiving, as the community had the privilege of welcoming a young priest who had recently been ordained to the sacred priesthood on 14th February 2026.

The Holy Eucharist was celebrated prayerfully and devotionally, creating a sense of thanksgiving and spiritual enrichment. Through his presence and priestly ministry, Fr. Joseph reminded the community of God’s continued call to serve Him faithfully and generously. The celebration became a beautiful occasion to reflect upon the gift of the priesthood and the importance of responding wholeheartedly to God’s invitation.

After the celebration of the Holy Mass, the community accorded Fr. Joseph a warm and heartfelt welcome. The short gathering was enriched with joyful songs, words of appreciation, and a formal welcome address expressing gratitude to God for the gift of his vocation. As a sign of honour and respect, Fr. Joseph was felicitated with a Risa. The community also extended its sincere congratulations on his priestly ordination and expressed its joy at sharing in this significant milestone of his life. The community conveyed its best wishes and prayerful support to Fr. Joseph as he begins his pastoral ministry. In a special way, prayers were offered for his mission as the Assistant Parish Priest of Pitra Parish, that the Lord may bless him with wisdom, zeal, compassion, and perseverance in shepherding God’s people. The community assured him of its constant prayers and fraternal support as he embarked upon this sacred ministry.

The visit concluded with a photo session, and a breakfast, allowing the members of the community to share in the happiness of the occasion. The presence of Fr. Joseph was truly a grace-filled experience and a source of inspiration for all the community members particularly to the Pre Novices. The community of Bosco Home Herma thanked God for the gift of Fr. Joseph Kandulna’s priesthood and prays that, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the protection of Mary Help of Christians, he may continue to be a faithful and zealous servant of Christ and His Church.
