Shillong 29th June: June 28th 2023 was a red-letter day for Don Bosco Technical School Shillong as the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Shri Conrad K Sangma visited DBTS. He arrived at DBTS at 12: 30 pm in the afternoon. He visited the different labs and classrooms. His visit was an encouragement for all of the staff and management to work harder for our young people. DBTS is a training partner of MSSDS (Meghalaya State Skills Development Society) for two courses i.e., Automotive Electrician and Food and Beverages Service Associate. The other officials who were present were the DC of East Khasi Hills, CEO of MSSDS and the others MSSDS office staff. After the short visit to the labs the Chief Minister gave a talk which was followed by a few moments of questions and answers round. The visit was a very important one as it will boast the connection and partnership between DBTS and the Government of Meghalaya especially the ministry of skills and development. The visit was a short but very meaningful and inspiring for all the students, teachers, staff and management.
