MARIAN PROCESSION AT RANGMALA IN HONOUR OF THE MONTH OF THE HOLY ROSARY

Rangmala, 31st October 2026:  | In a spirit of faith, devotion and Marian love, the Pre-Novices and the Salesian community of Bosco Home Herma participated in the Marian Procession at Rangmala A Village on 31st October 2026, in honour of the Month of the Holy Rosary. The celebration brought together the Salesian fathers, a deacon, the Pre-Novices, the hostellers of Don Bosco School Herma and the local faithful of Rangmala A Village, creating a beautiful expression of faith and Christian fellowship.

The programme commenced at 4:00 p.m. with an Adoration Service led by Deacon Petrus, together with the Pre-Novices. The prayerful moment provided an opportunity for everyone to spend time in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, offering their prayers and intentions to the Lord through the intercession of Mother Mary. This was followed by the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the Rector of Bosco Home Herma, Rev. Fr. Glorious Syiemlieh SDB. The celebration was attended by three fathers, a deacon, the Pre-Novices, the hostellers and the faithful of Rangmala A Village. Though the village Christian community consisted of only eight to ten families, their active participation and devotion added a special significance to the celebration.

Immediately after the Holy Mass, the Marian Procession began, with the participants walking prayerfully around the village while reciting the Holy Rosary and singing Marian hymns. The procession was not only an expression of devotion to Mother Mary but also an opportunity to publicly witness and share the Christian faith with people belonging to other religious communities in the village. The presence of the Bosco Home Band added colour, life and vibrancy to the procession, uplifting the hearts of the participants and attracting the attention of those who witnessed the graceful event.

Following the procession, the faithful of Rangmala A Village generously hosted a sumptuous supper for everyone. Their warm hospitality and generosity reflected the spirit of Christian love, unity and fellowship.

The Marian Procession at Rangmala A Village was indeed a successful and grace-filled occasion. It became a meaningful conclusion to the Month of the Holy Rosary, strengthening the faith of the participants and reminding everyone of the importance of prayer, devotion and bearing witness to Christ through the intercession of Mother Mary. The day came to a joyful close with hearts filled with gratitude, prayers and blessings.
