Don Bosco School – Thenzawl | 8 May 2026: On Friday, 8 May 2026, the teaching staff of Don Bosco School – Thenzawl gathered for an inspiring and enriching Teachers’ Enhancement Program conducted under the theme, “Teachers Enhancement Program of Teaching in the School.” The seminar aimed to strengthen professional competence, encourage innovative teaching practices, and promote continuous growth among educators.
The program began with a warm welcome and introductory address by the Fr. Principal, who highlighted the importance of ongoing improvement in teaching performance and classroom effectiveness. Fr. Davis SDB further motivated the teachers by emphasizing the need to prioritize English communication skills and systematic lesson planning, noting that these essential elements would significantly enhance the overall teaching-learning process within the school.
The session was led by the distinguished resource person, Sir Fhimber, who conducted the seminar in a dynamic, practical, and engaging manner. Through interactive group discussions, creative demonstrations, and hands-on activities, he showed how simple natural materials such as leaves, stones, water, trees, vegetables, and fruits can be effectively used as teaching aids to stimulate students’ curiosity and active participation. The session was further enriched with short educational and motivational video presentations that encouraged teachers to adopt more innovative and learner-centered teaching methods.
The teachers participated wholeheartedly throughout the program, making the seminar a deeply meaningful, productive, and memorable professional development experience for everyone involved.
