Nongkyna, 15th August 2026: Don Bosco School Lakeshore proudly participated in the 80th Independence Day celebration held at Nongkyna, where an inter-school march-past and cultural dance competition was organised. Around 20 schools from different areas took part in the event, showcasing discipline, unity, talent, and patriotic spirit.
The students of Don Bosco School Lakeshore performed with great enthusiasm and determination. Their hard work and disciplined presentation in the march-past earned the school the First Runner-up position in the Boys’ category and the Second Runner-up position in the Girls’ category. The school also secured the Second Runner-up position in the Cultural Dance competition, adding another achievement to its list of honours.
The event was a memorable occasion for the students and teachers, as it provided an opportunity to celebrate the nation while displaying the school’s spirit of teamwork, discipline, and excellence.
