Talent Fiesta 2026 Celebrates Creativity, Talent and Team Spirit at Don Bosco School Silchar

Silchar, July 21, 2026: Don Bosco School Silchar successfully hosted its much-awaited Talent Fiesta 2026 for the Senior Section (Classes V–XII) from 18 to 21 July 2026, offering students a vibrant platform to showcase their creativity, confidence, and diverse talents. The three-day event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 600–800 students, who competed with great zeal in a variety of literary, cultural, artistic, and innovation-based competitions.

Organized under the school’s House System, the Talent Fiesta saw participants representing their respective houses and competing for valuable house points. The programme featured an exciting array of events designed to nurture students’ artistic expression, communication skills, and innovative thinking.

The cultural competitions—including Singing, Dancing, Instrumental Music, Storytelling, and the Mr. & Miss Bostonian contest—were held in the School Auditorium. Students captivated the audience with their exceptional performances, confidence, and stage presence, making each event a memorable experience.

At the same time, creative competitions such as On-the-Spot Painting, T-Shirt Painting, Innovation, Best Out of Waste, and Face Painting were conducted at various venues across the campus. These activities highlighted the students’ imagination, artistic excellence, environmental awareness, and problem-solving abilities.

The Talent Fiesta was formally inaugurated on Saturday, 18 July 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the School Auditorium. The inaugural ceremony began with a prayer and a graceful prayer dance, followed by instructions regarding the competitions. Addressing the gathering, the Principal, Fr. Sebastian Palatty, SDB, encouraged the students to participate wholeheartedly, embrace healthy competition, and always strive for excellence.

Throughout the event, students displayed remarkable enthusiasm, discipline, and sportsmanship. The smooth conduct of the programme was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the House Coordinators, House Masters, House Mistresses, and the teaching staff, whose commitment ensured the fair and efficient organization of every competition.

The Talent Fiesta concluded on 21 July 2026 with a grand Prize Distribution Ceremony, during which winners across various events were felicitated and house points were awarded to their respective teams.

More than just a competition, Talent Fiesta 2026 celebrated the spirit of creativity, teamwork, innovation, and self-expression. The event provided students with an enriching learning experience while reinforcing confidence, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence, making it a memorable occasion for the entire Don Bosco School Silchar family.
