Shillong, 25 June 2026: Don Bosco Technical School (DBTS), Shillong celebrated the Graduation Day Ceremony of the Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV) ITI students who successfully completed the Automotive Skill Development Program in collaboration with Hyundai.
The programme began with a prayer and Bible reading led by Brother Sniawshngain Papang, the Vice Principal, followed by the Welcome Address by Rev. Father. Shiningstar Dkhar, Principal of Don Bosco Technical School. In his address, he congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to uphold the values of discipline, professionalism, and lifelong learning as they embark on their careers in the automotive industry.
The celebration was enriched by a cultural performance presented by the DBTS students. The gathering was then addressed by Shri Rishabh Gaur, Senior Manager, TSL Foundation, speaking on behalf of Hyundai, in the presence of Hyundai officials from Shillong. In his address, he appreciated the partnership between Hyundai and DBTS in equipping young people with industry-relevant skills and encouraged the graduates to make the most of the opportunities before them.
The highlight of the programme was the distribution of certificates to the graduating MMV students, marking the successful completion of their training under the Automotive Skill Development Program.
Following the graduation ceremony, a Campus Placement Drive was organized exclusively for the MMV graduates. Representatives and dealers from Hyundai participated in the recruitment process, providing the students with valuable employment opportunities and reinforcing Hyundai’s commitment to promoting skill development and career placement for trained youth.
The programme concluded on a positive note, celebrating the achievements of the graduates and wishing them success in their future careers in the automotive industry.
