Pathaliaghat 18th October 2023: As rightly said by Napoleon Hill " The ladder of Succes is never Crowded at the top". The St. Xavier's School was happy to Conclude the Don Bosco Football Tournament 2023 on 18 October 2023. Among the 46 teams who have played for the match, only two managed to pass through the fight. These are: Gamaria FC V/S Amokanta Academy FC. For the Concluding Ceremony, we invited the District Magistrate of the Sapahijala District but he couldn't be present for the Ceremony therefore, Mr. Anandu Kumar Debarma ( The Panchayati Chairman of the Pathliaghat Village) who inaugurated the Tournament also concluded the D.B Football tournament 2023. The final football match was very fairly played by the players of both the teams. Although, both the teams played very well and the games ended with a penalty shoot out and this made the Gamaria FC the Champion of the Don Bosco tournament 2023. At the end of the programme, Rev. Fr. Blasius Kujur, the Rector of the community thanked everyone who have come from near and far to witness this DB Tournament. He also thanked the organisers Fr. Principal, V. Principal, brothers, sisters and those who especially planned out the entire programme of the DB football tournament. Finally, prizes of Rupees 25000 for the winner and 15000 for the runners up were handed over.
