Shillong, 15th October 2023 – The vibrant and spirited youth of Shillong, Mawlai, gathered in enthusiastic numbers at the Sacred Heart Theological College on the 15th of October for the highly anticipated Annual Youth Fest 2023. The theme of the fest, "WITH THE YOUTH ON THE SYNODAL PATH," resonated deeply with the youth, as they came together to celebrate the boundless potential of their generation. The event commenced on a pious note at 9 am with a solemn Holy Eucharistic celebration, presided over by the revered Fr. Hilarious Lamare, V.G. of Jowai Diocese. This spiritual start set the tone for a day of inspiration and growth. Over 1400 youth from Shillong and its neighbouring regions participated, creating a vibrant and diverse gathering. The keynote speaker for the event was none other than the esteemed Mr. Anthony Khongsit. Mr. Khongsit urged the young minds to embrace leadership with commitment, dedication, and perseverance.
