Shillong 22 October: On the morning of 21st October 2025, St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, organized a one-day Table Tennis Tournament open to all enthusiasts. A total of 11 participants competed in the event, showcasing remarkable energy and sportsmanship throughout the day.
The occasion was graced by Fr. Suman Kiro, Principal of Don Bosco School, Herma, who served as the Chief Guest. The matches proved to be both competitive and engaging, keeping the entire student body captivated as they cheered on the players.
At the conclusion of the tournament, prizes and trophies were awarded to the winners. Mr. Subrai Rupini, a former student of the school, emerged as the Champion, while Mr. Christopher Munda, a current Class X student, secured the position of Runner-up.
Special appreciation was extended to Fr. Babu, the Principal, and the Organizing Committee for their dedicated efforts in hosting such a lively and well-coordinated sporting event, which not only promoted athletic talent but also strengthened the spirit of camaraderie among students.
