3rd March 2024, Shillong: On March 2nd and 3rd, 2024, the Pastoral Centre in Shillong hosted a profound Trimonthly Recollection for Practical Trainees and student brothers. The event commenced with a poignant Way of the Cross, reflecting on the passion of Jesus, followed by a warm welcome from Fr. John Zosiama, the newly elected provincial. The recollection delved into spiritual nourishment with sessions led by esteemed speakers. Fr. Raphael Maiong illuminated the gathering with insights on "Jesus Experience," fostering a deeply reflective atmosphere. The following day commenced with morning prayer and meditation, led by Fr. Vice Provincial, preceding a thought-provoking session by Fr. Denis Lalfela on the theme of "Compassion," setting the tone for the upcoming Provincial Chapter. The event also featured sacraments, including the Sacrament of Reconciliation and a solemn Holy Eucharist presided over by Fr. Paul Olphindro, the Provincial. Concluding with gratitude expressed by Br. Lumlang Marbaniang, the recollection saw participation from 40 brothers across diverse communities, fostering spiritual growth and fraternity.
