Shillong 26th June: The 24th June 2023 was such a memorable day for the Community of Sunnyside Novitiate Upper Shillong as Meshan Mawroh of the Novitiate Batch 2022-2023 made his First Religious Profession on this day. The main celebrant was Fr. Provincial, Fr. Paul Olphindro Lyngkot sdb and concelebrated by Fr. Cajee, the Provincial Secretary, Fr. Master Fr. V. T. Jose, Fr. Pyndeilang, Fr. Prabir Minj and Fr. Nicholas Sun. The Provincial received the Vows on behalf of the Rector Major and Witnessed by Fr. V. T. Jose and Fr. Nicholas and the novices. The family members of Meshan besides the some guests and Salesian Co-operators were also present for the occasion. After Mass, the newly professed thanked the Superiors and the Community for having helped him to understand the call and finally saed Yes to God. He was congratulated and wished by everyone.
