St. Xavier’s Hr. Sec. School, Pathaliaghat 7th October 2023: A one day Career Guidance cum Counseling programme for class XII students was organized at St. Xavier’s Hr. Sec. School, Pathaliaghat on 7th October 2023. Professors from ICFAI University Agartala, Mr. Prasenjit Das, Mr. Raj Kumar Das and Mr. Iaispi Debbarma animated the sessions. In his words of welcome the Principal, Fr. Babu Stephen SDB, accorded a warm welcome to all the resource persons, students and teachers. He further highlighted the importance of this career guidance cum counseling programme and introduced the resource persons to the school community. Fr. Babu, on behalf of the school, also thanked them for their availability and initiative taken to organize this programme for the welfare of the students. Mr. Prasenjit Das animated the first session on Marketing, Scholarships, and different kinds of careers that are very much sought after by students today. He gave a complete picture about what kind of career that one need to choose, how to choose and when to choose it. It was a very lively session. Moving on with other professors from ICFAI University Mr. Raj Kumar Das and Mr. Iaispi dealt with many other science related topics such as Science and Technology, Basic Science Programs, Education Programs, Liberal Arts, Nursing Programs and Allied Health Science Programs. The whole animation programme cum counseling was very enriching and informative for the students. The students were so much thrilled and excited to be part of this programme. Many raised doubts and questions related to different careers and job opportunities and it was very well explained and clarified by the resource persons. The students were very happy about the whole programme today and they thanked all the resource persons for their valuable service and interest shown towards the welfare of the students. They also expressed their concerns of having such informative and enriching programmes in the school frequently for the benefit of all. At the end of the session, the school thanked them all by presenting them with school scarf and thereafter a group photo was taken together with principal, students and resource persons. St. Xavier’s School places on record the great contribution made by ICFAI University professors today.
