Baijalbari Parish has seven aspirants who join the SCV Sisters (Sisters of Charity)


Tripura 27th October: The Parish of Baijalbari is ever grateful to God for the numerous vocations to religious life. Presently, about thirty-three candidates have entered religious life. There are more girls waiting to enter religious life. Every year, many sisters’ congregations came to Baijalbari Parish to recruit for vocation. On October 27th, the new aspirants, who had arrived from St. Andre School met Fr. Paul Panachikkal Sdb, the parish priest of Baijalbari Parish. Fr. Paul was very happy to meet the new aspirants who have joint religious lives. They stayed in the parish for 10 days, learning many things. In these few days, they had a guitar lesson by Br. Meban and sessions by Br. Alexius Conpan on religious life. They also got a chance to attend the youth program. The aspirants were all happy with these few days spent at Baijalbari Parish.
