“AWARENESS PROGRAMME FOR THE CONVENT GIRLS’ BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT” AT BAIJALBAR
Tripura 28th June: On June 28, 2023, the SDPO of Khowai District (Pushan Majumdal) paid a visit to the convent for the purpose of addressing the students. Fr. Paul Panachikkal Sdb welcomed all the police personnel by highlighting the fact that Pushan Majumdal was one of the students from Don Bosco School Nandanagar. The Parents of all the hostel girls were also invited to the Programme. Around 80 guardians were present on that day. Along with Pushan Majumdal, Rathin Debbarma, the OC of Baijal, and Manju Rani, the sub-inspector, eight more police personnel were present. Mr. Pushan Majumdal spoke about the Don Bosco institution and the formation given by the institution. He highlighted the fact that Don Bosco School, following the charism of Don Bosco, gives quality education to the students and pays great attention to their formation. He congratulated all the Parents for sending their Children to Don Bosco School. One of the parents spoke out, saying that the Children were safe under the care of the educators. After the meeting got over, the hostel girls put on a few dances to entertain the guests and their parents. Sr. Pushpa thanks Mr. Pushan Majumdal and his team for making themselves available, and she also thanks everyone Present for the Programme.
