Silchar, 10 February 2026: Don Bosco School, Silchar marked a significant milestone by organizing its first-ever Gratitude Day for the students of Class X on 10 February 2026. The thoughtfully planned programme was dedicated to praying for the students and wishing them success as they prepare to appear for their first public examinations.
The event commenced with a solemn prayer service, seeking God’s blessings for wisdom, confidence, and good health for the students. Teachers and the entire DBS family assured them of their unwavering prayers and steadfast support during this crucial stage of their academic journey.
A particularly touching highlight of the programme was the distribution of admit cards by the respective class teachers. Along with the admit cards, students received heartfelt blessings and encouraging words, making the moment both emotional and memorable.
As the school offers education up to Class XII, the DBS family chose not to bid the students farewell at this stage. Instead, the institution expressed its sincere hope of welcoming them back after their examinations, reminding them that they remain cherished members of the Bosco family.
