Deepening the Salesian Spirit: Don Bosco Quiz Competition at Bosco Home Herma”

Herma, 21st February 2026: A Don Bosco Quiz Competition was organized for the Pre-Novices of Bosco Home Herma on 21st February 2026. The programme aimed to help the participants deepen their knowledge and understanding of the life and mission of Don Bosco.

The event began with a warm welcome and introductory address by the President of the Missionary Sodality, who outlined the purpose and procedure of the programme. His encouraging words created a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere for the competition. The gathering then invoked God’s blessings through a prayer. Following this, the Assistant clearly explained the rules and regulations, along with the structure of the various rounds.

The participants were divided into four groups: Missionary Sodality, Salesian Sodality, Marian Sodality, and Auxiliary Sodality, with each team comprising six to seven members. The quiz featured seven rounds, including individual and group segments, along with a few creative activities designed to keep the participants actively engaged. The highlight of the event was the thrilling Rapid Fire Round, which added excitement and energy to the competition.

All the participants took part with great enthusiasm and confidence, displaying impressive knowledge about the life and works of Don Bosco. The atmosphere throughout the programme was vibrant and competitive, yet marked by a strong sense of joy and brotherhood.

In the end, the Auxiliary Sodality emerged victorious, securing a total of 405 points. The quiz competition concluded smoothly and successfully, leaving the participants appreciative of the well-organized and creative rounds. The event ended on a joyful and memorable note, strengthening their Salesian spirit and unity.
