Bosco Home Herma, 15 November 2025 — The community of Bosco Home Herma joyfully welcomed the canonical visitation of Fr. John Zosiama, Provincial of the INS Province, and Fr. Genesius Wanniang, the Provincial Economer. Their three-day visit began on 11 November and concluded on 13 November 2025.
The Provincial and Economer arrived at 4:35 p.m., where they were warmly greeted at the gate by the gracious Rector and the enthusiastic Pre-Novices. The welcome featured a lively band performance and a heartfelt welcome song. That evening, the community hosted a formal reception highlighted by spirited dances, harmonious instrumental pieces, dynamic percussion, and a melodious choir presentation.
On 12 November, Father Provincial met with the Pre-Novices in the morning and the staff in the afternoon. Later at 4:00 p.m., the entire community accompanied the Provincial and Economer to Don Bosco School Herma for the Parents’ Day and Annual Day celebration. The programme began with the inauguration of the new school gate by the Provincial, followed by a touching tribute to parents and a sequence of performances including a prayer dance, cultural dances, parent presentations, an instrumental piece by the Pre-Novices, and speeches by the chief guest and guest of honour. The event concluded at 8:00 p.m., after which the Pre-Novices assisted in rearranging and organizing the venue.
The visit formally concluded on 13 November with a solemn Eucharistic celebration in the morning led by Father Provincial, followed by a family assembly in the evening. The Provincial departed the community at around 5:30 p.m.
At the close of the Canonical Visitation, the community expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the Provincial for his thoughtful observations, gentle corrections, words of encouragement, fraternal dialogue, and meaningful guidance—strengthening their commitment to the mission.
