Herma, 28th February, 2026: “Bosco Nite” was organised for the Pre-novices of Bosco Home, Herma, on 28th February, 2026 at 5:30 pm in the TV Hall. The programme was thoughtfully arranged by the Fathers Rector, Councillor, and Brother Assistant. The focal point of this vibrant evening was to nurture the young minds with the spirit and person of Don Bosco through engaging games and meaningful activities.
The programme commenced with a brief prayer led by the Brother Assistant, invoking God’s blessings upon the gathering. This was followed by the solemn lighting of the candle by the Father Rector. As the judges prepared themselves for the evening, the Pre-novices enthusiastically warmed up with lively action songs, creating an atmosphere of joy and fraternity. The evening was filled with enchanting and creative activities. To mention a few: table decoration, scramble words, find the message, fill the triangle, group yell, Bosco advertisement, general quiz, fill in the missing words, and many more engaging games. Each activity was carefully planned to deepen the participants’ knowledge about the life, mission, and values of Don Bosco. The Pre-novices were fully immersed in the programme and demonstrated active and enthusiastic participation throughout the event. At the conclusion of all the activities, the points were displayed. The group that proudly carried the Champions’ Trophy was the Auxiliary Sodality, securing an impressive 790 points. Their teamwork, creativity, and zeal were truly commendable.
The evening ended at 08:00 pm with a hymn to Don Bosco. At the end of the wonderful evening the Pre-novices expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for their selfless sacrifice and hard work in making the event a memorable and meaningful experience. “Bosco Nite” was indeed a beautiful celebration of Salesian spirit, unity, and youthful enthusiasm.
