Pathaliaghat, 17th December 2025: The 31st Annual Day of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat was celebrated with great joy and splendour on 17th December 2025 in the school hall, with Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, IAS, District Magistrate of Sepahijala, as the Chief Guest. A huge crowd of parents, guests and well-wishers attended the open-invitation programme, while the beautifully decorated hall and campus reflected the festive spirit of Christmas. The celebration began with an invocation prayer by Fr. K. K. Joseph, the Rector, followed by a warm welcome by Fr. Babu Stephen, the Principal, and a graceful prayer dance by the convent girls. The cultural programme featured vibrant dances, musical band performances, a skit on saving trees and the earth by pre-primary students, and a variety of traditional and modern dances, including Garhwali, Mamita, Dandiya, Nigerian bamboo and special performances by hostel boys, all presented in superb costumes. The students mesmerized the audience with their spectacular and professional performances, enhanced by excellent sound, lighting and LED display. The Chief Guest praised the school’s magnificent campus and the talents of the students, Ms. Priyanka proposed the vote of thanks, and the Annual Day concluded as a grand success with wholehearted support from parents and the school community.
