Shillong, 17th December 2025: Don Bosco Technical School, Shillong has achieved remarkable success at the India Skills Competition – Meghalaya, organized by the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training (DECT), Department of Labour, Government of Meghalaya.
After qualifying at the district level, students from Don Bosco Technical School were selected to represent the institution at the state-level competition held from 15 to 17 December. The event brought together skilled students from across the state, providing a platform to demonstrate technical excellence, creativity, and professional competence.
The students of Don Bosco Technical School delivered outstanding performances across multiple skill categories, earning top positions and bringing distinction to the institution.
In the Graphic Design category, Deicy Swer secured the Winner position, while Kyrshanborlang Palliar emerged as the Runner-up.
In Automobile Technology, John Paul Maring achieved the Runner-up position.
In the Carpentry Technician category, Kynshewbha was awarded Runner-up.
In addition to the prize winners, other participants from Don Bosco Technical School demonstrated commendable skills and professionalism, reflecting the institution’s strong emphasis on technical competence and discipline.
These achievements at the state level of the India Skills Competition stand as a testimony to the students’ hard work, perseverance, and the quality of technical education imparted at Don Bosco Technical School, Shillong.
