Silchar, 6th November 2025: Fr. Anthony Valluran, a pioneer of the Don Bosco presence in Silchar, visited Don Bosco School, Silchar, and was warmly welcomed by the staff and students. Fr. Valluran was instrumental in initiating the Don Bosco mission in Silchar in the year 2000, and his efforts led to the official establishment of the school in 2006. During his visit, he addressed the teachers, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration. He encouraged them to remain united as colleagues, to respect and support one another, and to nurture a strong sense of family spirit within the institution. Later, Fr. Valluran spoke to the students of Classes V to VII, focusing his message on the values of goodness, responsibility, and mutual respect. He reminded the students that being part of the Don Bosco Family means striving to be good individuals who care for and accept one another. His inspiring words served as a reminder of the school’s mission to form not only educated minds but also compassionate hearts rooted in the spirit of Don Bosco.
