Shillong 4th November 2025: On a refreshing morning, the aspirants of the Pastoral Centre set out for a trekking journey to Shillong Peak. The purpose of this trek was to promote physical fitness, strengthen team spirit, and experience the beauty of nature while nurturing gratitude towards God’s creation.
The aspirants began their walk early, filled with enthusiasm and determination. Along the way, they enjoyed the fresh mountain breeze, lush greenery, and breathtaking views that surrounded them. The trek not only challenged their physical stamina but also offered moments of reflection and silent prayer amidst nature’s calm.
Upon reaching the peak, the group spent time appreciating the panoramic view of Shillong city and the neighboring hills. It was a moment of joy and accomplishment for all. The day concluded with group sharing and thanksgiving to God for a safe and enriching experience. The trekking to Shillong Peak was truly inspiring, fostering unity, discipline, and a deeper connection with nature and one another.
