Bosco Home Herma, 15th October, 2025: The community of Bosco Home Herma experienced an exuberant visit of the formators from different provinces of North East India; Fr. Bivan Mukhim, the Vice Provincial of Guwahati, Fr. Paul Olphindro Lyngkot, the Novice Master of Sunny Side Novitiate and Fr. Cyprian Kalakudam, the Rector of Pre-novitiate house Ampuri Dimapur Province.
The Pre-novices of Bosco Home Herma welcomed the formators with a short felicitation programed held at 10:00 A.M in the hall. The Rector of the community, Fr. Glorious Syiemlieh, welcomed the formators with a jubilant speech. The Pre-novices expressed their love and gratitude with a welcome song, a choir piece and an instrumental performance, adding to the joy of welcoming the formators. The presence of the formators was indeed a blessing to the community of Bosco Home Herma. The Purpose of their visit was to become acquainted with the formation of different formation houses to evaluate and study their function. Moreover, its essence is to remind each one of us that formation is not only about filling heads with ideas but about forming hearts that can love like Christ.
The visitation was successfully concluded with a solemn Eucharistic celebration the next morning, presided over by Fr. Cyprian and a photo session. The formators left the community after breakfast, with the community members bidding them farewell and well wishes. The visit of the formators from different provinces brought joy and a sense of fraternity to the community. The community thanked God for this boisterous moment of Grace and a deep encounter of faith, wisdom and shared experience.
