Shillong 8 July: The Salesian province of Shillong first retreat of 2023 was held at Pastoral Center Shillong, from the 2nd of July to 8th of July 2023. The retreat was preached and animated by Rev Fr. Regi Kizhakkethalackal MSFS. There were 45 confreres who attended the retreat. The theme of the retreat was how to grow in the spiritual life, “growth in the spiritual Journey”. Fr Regi helped the confreres to check on how far they have grown in their spiritual journey. The sessions or talk were based on the Holy Scriptures and the life of the saints especially the mystics of the Church. Each day was given by two talks, personal reflection, Adoration, Holy Eucharist, Rosaries, Divine Mercy Prayer, and goodnight talk by different confreres from the different region of the Province. The Preacher also conducted Inner Healing and deliverance Adoration services. The retreat concluded on the 8th of July 2023 with the Eucharistic celebration celebrated by Fr. Provincial.
