10th January 2024, Don Bosco Technical School: In a remarkable showcase of musical prowess, Don Bosco Technical School Shillong organized singing competition for the winter camp students. The event, held in the school's auditorium, brought together a diverse range of vocal talents, creating an unforgettable evening of entertainment and camaraderie. The winter evening came alive as students took the stage with confidence and flair. There were seven groups in all consisting of all boys and girls. The panel of judges, comprising of young Salesians who are music instructors, faced the daunting task of evaluating the outstanding performances. The competition was fierce, with each group participant bringing their unique flair to the stage. Backstage, nervous excitement and friendly banter filled the air as contestants waited for their turn to shine. The camaraderie among the students was evident, showcasing the strong sense of community fostered by DBTS. The emphasis was not just on competition but on fostering growth and passion for music. The winners were announced amidst thunderous applause and cheers. The winner of the competition was the group Sisterhood followed by A4 group and Cicilia & Group. The top performers were awarded not just for their vocal prowess but also for stage presence, originality, and connection with the audience.
