YOUTH FOR A GREENER TOMORROW: ST. XAVIER’S WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY RALLY
5th June 2025, Pathaliaghat: St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2025 with enthusiasm and purpose. The event began with an inspiring address by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Babu Stephen, who emphasized the importance of environmental protection and the impact of small, responsible actions. Classes I to IV took part in a Cleanliness Drive around the school, while Classes V to XII held a vibrant Environmental Awareness Rally across Pathaliaghat, promoting the theme “Say No to Plastic, yes to a Green Future.”
The rally, filled with student-made posters and slogans, engaged the local community and spread awareness. The celebration concluded with a reflection session where students and teachers shared their insights. The day was a meaningful blend of education, action, and community involvement, leaving a lasting message of environmental responsibility.
