Shillong June 20: The community of DBTS celebrated the baptism of a young man Wandame War as the church got one new member into its fold. On 19th June Wandame War was baptized as Isaiah War by Fr. PV Joseph during the Eucharistic celebration celebrated in the evening concelebrated by the Rector Father Saji Stephen. The community witnessed this act of faith made by Wandame as he became Catholic. His friends were also present for the Baptism. Wandame studied in our school at St. Anthonys’, Shillong from Nursery to Class XII. He is originally from Ummulong but stayed in Shillong for his Studies. He was guided in his faith journey by Fr. PV Joseph to understand about Christ and the Catholic Church.
