24th October 2023 Shillong: The Novitiate Community is privileged to have been visited by the Superiors from time to time. The 24th October, 2023 was one such day to have been blessed by the maiden visit of the Vicar General of the Congregation, Rev. Fr. Stephano Martoglio. He was accompanied by Fr Patrick, Secretary the Vicar, the ING Vice Provincial, Fr Joseph Teron; and our INS Vice Provincial, Fr John Zosiama. He arrived at 6:45 am and began the Holy Eucharist straight away. During his homily he gave a reflection on the Gospel of the day telling those who keep awake will always discover the presence of God in their life. And during the interaction with the Novices, he re-iterated the point of discovering oneself in the presence of another person. He further advised the Novices to put their confidence and transparency in their Novice Master. The Community in turn expressed its joy and gratitude with the songs and the address. Fr. Vettath Jose thanked the Vicar on behalf of the Community and assured him of the prayers and support. The Vicar and his team left the Novitiate by 9:30 am.
