ST. XAVIER’S BAND SHINES AT THE STATE LEVEL OBSERVANCE OF HAR GHAR TIRANGA
Pathaliaghat, 13th August 2024: St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat Girl's Brass Band Team, which consists of 35 young and dynamic girls aged between 11-17, showcased their musical skills during the State Level Observance of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign on 13th August 2024 at Umakanta Academy Ground, Agartala in the presence of Honorable Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof. C. Manik Saha, a galaxy of other VIP's of the state, and a multitude of students, teachers, parents, and different government officials. Our school band mesmerized the audience with their excellent band performance. The audience was impressed by the band’s cohesion, enthusiasm and energy. Ms. Athukiri Debbarma, the team leader led the band in a thrilling spirit. The school band performed a diver’s repertoire of tunes. The drum soloists and section leaders demonstrated exceptional skill and confidence. It was a wonderful experience for our band team to interact with the Chief Minister of the state. The CM of Tripura, Prof. C. Manik Saha, appreciated and congratulated the team for their outstanding performance. The Chief Minister praised the school for its talented students and bringing laurels to the state in January during the National Level Inter School Band Competition held in Delhi in which our school band bagged the Third Prize under Girl's Brass Band category. The event was organized by the School Education Department, Govt. of Tripura. The school team was accompanied by the Principal, Fr. Babu Stephen, Ms. Priyanka Debbarma, Ms. Moni Jamatia and Mr. Clinton Tripura.
