St. Peter’s Nongstoin Parish Hosts Eucharistic Procession, Deepening Devotion to the Blessed Lord
25th February 2024, Nongstoin: On February 25th, 2024, St. Peter’s Nongstoin Parish organized a day-long Devotion to the Blessed Lord through a solemn Eucharistic Procession. Fr. Marius Thongnibah SDB, the Parish Priest, led the main celebration, commencing with the Holy Eucharist at 10:30 am. Joining him was Fr. Kevin, the Bishop's Secretary of the Diocese, who delivered the Homily during the Mass.
The subsequent part of the service, the Eucharistic Procession, commenced at 1:30 pm, further deepening the faith and devotion of the assembled faithful. This sacred event provided an opportunity for congregants to express their reverence and adoration for the Blessed Lord through a meaningful and contemplative procession. As participants followed the Blessed Sacrament in procession, the atmosphere was filled with solemnity and spiritual enrichment, fostering a profound connection to the Eucharist and strengthening the bond of devotion within the parish community.
