17th February 2024, Bishramganj: On the occasion of "National Girl Child Day," the Sepahijala District administration along with District Education Office, felicitated St. Xavier's School Band Team during a grand function held at the multi-purpose hall, Bishramganj on 17th February 2024. The school band team consisted of 25 girls who were appreciated and felicitated by the administration for winning the Third Prize at the National Level School Band Competition held in Delhi on 22nd January 2024 and bringing laurels to the state of Tripura. It was a great honour given to our students for their dedication and hard work. The programme was organized in order to encourage and motivate girls to excel in everything they do in their life. The function was graced by many VIP's and dignitaries from the district administration and education department who all spoke and addressed the students on the importance of gender equality and girl child empowerment. Many girls from different schools who excelled in various sporting and cultural events in the state were also felicitated during the function. Our school band team felt honoured and appreciated for their hard work. Our students were accompanied by Mr. Shanti, Ms. Roseline and Ms. Priyanka Debbarma.The felicitation consisted of presentation of gifts to individual players and a big memento for the school. The school thank everyone for their help and encouragement for our students.
