8th September 2024, Rangblang: The Touring Programme of Rangblang Catholic Youth took place from September 6 to 8, 2024, in Pyndengkseh Village, themed "Those who hope in Yahweh will run and will never tire" (Isaiah 40:31). This three-day event gathered 220 delegates and was animated by Fr. Devasia SDB, Fr. Jeffree SDB, and Sir Markus Dkhar, focusing on themes such as "Youth and God's Word," "Understanding the Liturgical Rite of the Holy Mass," "Holiness in this Unholy World," and "Sharing Our Faith." Participants engaged in prayer, Eucharistic adorations, house visits, and confession, fostering spiritual growth and community. The final day featured a Holy Mass attended by notable figures, including Fr. Jeevan L. SDB, Vice Provincial of the Shillong Province, Fr. Edmund L. SDB (Parish Priest), Fr. Paul K. SDB, Fr. Jeffree K. SDB (Youth Director), Sr. Banteisha W. FMA (Youth Animator), shri. Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar, the MLA from Mawkyrwat, along with many youths and faithful of Rangblang Parish. The evening program of 8th September, highlighted the participation of Sir Commander S, the chief guest, who awarded prizes for the Preaching and Skit competitions. Gilbert was recognized as the best preacher, while Marshan won the skit competition. As the event concluded, participants expressed gratitude for the enriching experience, inspired by Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." With renewed spirits, the youth left Pyndengkseh Village, committed to being vibrant witnesses of faith, knowing that their strength comes from Christ, who is alive within them.
