Shillong, 13 August: Rilang Children's Home organized an Awareness Program on Drug Abuse on the 12th August 2024, as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Independence Day Campaign 2024, culminating in a pledge-taking ceremony by the boys and staff, reaffirming their commitment to a drug-free life. Mr. Deep Gurung, Program Manager of Child Friendly Shillong, BIDS, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The program aimed to educate the residents and staff about the dangers of drug abuse, its consequences, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
