18th June 2024, Pathaliaghat: With the aim of empowering the School Captains, Class Captains, and House Captains a beautiful Investiture Ceremony was held in the school on 18th June 2024. Principal, Fr. Babu Stephen, welcomed all the Captains and the Vice-captains to the dais prior to the ceremony and Ms. Priyanka invoked the blessing of God upon everyone present for the ceremony. Fr. K.K. Joseph, the Rector graced occasion with his benign presence. The ceremony commenced with a beautiful introduction on the duties and responsibilities of the school leaders by Mr. Clement which was followed by a message by Fr. K.K. Joseph. Mr. Sahid Debbarma, the School took the oath in the name of all the captains and vice-captains of the classes and houses which was followed by pinning of badges to the leaders. Fr. Babu Stephen pinned the badges on the School Captains and vice-captains while Fr.K.K. Joseph pinned the badges on to the House captains and vice-captains. The class teachers were called upon by the principal to pin the badges on to the Class Captains and vice- captains. It was a very meaningful and colourful ceremony witnessed by the whole school in the hall. The audience gave a loud and a thunderous applause to their leaders and congratulated them for being sworn in as their School, Class and House Captains for the academic year 2024-25. The school also took this opportunity and extended a warm welcome to Bro. Bankitlang Lyngkoi to St. Xavier's School family. Fr. K.K. Joseph introduced brother to the school community and welcomed him with Tripuri traditional Risa and a school Scarf. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and a group photo.
