Tripura 15th August: The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in our school on August 15 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day. All the students and teachers gathered in the school playground at 9:00 a.m. Br. Alexius Condpan, the principal of the school, welcomed everyone, gave a brief introduction, and explained the procedure for the programme. The national flag was hoisted by Fr. Paul Panachikkal, SDB (Chief Guest). A solemn speech was given by Fr. Paul to pay homage to the martyrs of our country. There were also marches past and zumba dances performed by the students. After the outdoor programme, the indoor programme started, which was a patriotic song competition for four houses. All the students sang beautifully, but at the end, Yellow House became the winner of the Patriotic Song Competition. Overall, the students participated with lots of joy and enthusiasm, making the celebration memorable.
