FAREWEL CUM GRATITUDE DAY


10th February 2024, Silchar:Don Bosco School, Silchar bid farewell to its outgoing students of classes X and XII, with a heartfelt event on February 10, 2024. The Farewell Cum Gratitude Day served as a poignant occasion to reminisce about cherished memories while expressing gratitude to those who have contributed to the growth and success of the school community. The event commenced with the Bible reading and a meaningful prayer prayed by Ms. Wympher, followed by a prayer dance by the students of classes V & VI. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and nostalgia as everyone gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating classes X and XII. The Principal Fr. Surjit Tigga encouraged the students to live by the virtues of kindness, love, empathy, brotherhood, perseverance etc. as they venture out into the new phase of life. The students and teachers took turns sharing heartfelt reflections and reminiscences about their time at Don Bosco School. Through anecdotes and speeches, they recalled fond memories, shared experiences, and the transformative journey they had undergone together. The outgoing students were presented with tokens of appreciation as a gesture of recognition for their contributions to the school. Two students of Class-XII namely Pulokit Roy XII Com and Aarushi Paul, XII Sc were given the award of Students of the Year (boys & girls category). The event was further enriched by captivating cultural performances, including musical renditions and dance performances. These performances added a vibrant and celebratory element to the farewell proceedings, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. The Farewell Cum Gratitude Day at Don Bosco School, Silchar, was a resounding success, marked by heartfelt sentiments, nostalgic reflections, and expressions of gratitude. As the outgoing students bid adieu to their alma mater, they left behind a legacy of excellence and camaraderie, reaffirming the enduring bonds forged within the Don Bosco School community.
