13th April 2024, Shillong: On April 13, 2024, the Don Bosco Youth Centre in Laitumkhrah, Shillong, commenced a free Central University Entrance Test (CUET) training program aimed at aiding students preparing for the rigorous exam. Led by Professor Jacob Shylla from St. Anthony's College, the inaugural session saw a warm welcome from Father Michael Makri, the center's director, who offered words of encouragement to the attending students. Father Makri announced that the program will run every Saturday until May, extending an open invitation to all students, including those not affiliated with the center, to join and benefit from the comprehensive training sessions. Emphasizing inclusivity, he urged aspiring CUET candidates to seize the opportunity to enhance their preparation and excel in the upcoming exams. The next session is scheduled for the following Saturday, starting at 10 am, promising to equip participants with valuable insights and strategies for success in the CUET examination.
