Shillong, May 15: The Mizoram Board of School Education recently released the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations held on May 14, 2024. In a display of outstanding performance, all the Don Bosco Schools in the region have showcased commendable results. At Don Bosco School Siaha, 118 students appeared for the board exams. Among them, 10 students secured distinctions, 30 students secured first division, 32 students secured second division, and 26 students secured third division. Regrettably, one student faced a compartment in mathematics, while 19 students did not clear the examination. Moreover, 40 students attained letter marks in Mizo, 8 students in Mathematics, 12 students in Science, 2 students in Social Science, 7 in Alternative English, and 3 in English. Don Bosco School Lawngtlai witnessed exceptional success, with 73 out of 80 students passing the exams, resulting in an impressive pass percentage of 91.25%. Similarly, at Don Bosco School Thenzawl, 14 out of 16 students passed the examinations. Notably, Don Bosco School Seling and Don Bosco School Bualpui’Ng’ have both achieved a significant milestone this year by attaining a 100% pass percentage, marking a remarkable feat in the academic journey of these institutions. The success of Don Bosco Schools in the HSLC examinations is a testament to the dedication and hard work of both the students and the faculty.
