Seling 2nd November: At the dawn of the month of November, the five schools of Seling Parish which includes Don Bosco School Darlawn, Don Bosco School Khawruhlian, Don Bosco School Ratu, Don Bosco School, Seling and Fernando School of Zemabawk joined hands to celebrate Inter-Don Bosco Sports Meet 2023 which was held on the 1st and the 2nd of November 2023 at Seling playground and was hosted by Don Bosco School seling. It was a whole day programme started at the dawn at 5:30 am lasted till late evening on both days. On the first day,a solem inauguration was organised with Mr Reuben Lalhmangaihzuala, APO, RD Block as the chief guest and many other important figures of the Seling town. The principals were present on both the days with all the students who represented different schools. Activities were divided into categories, class 6 to class 8 where categorised as juniors while class 9 and class 10 as seniors. Different activities and competitions were organised such as Football, Volleyball, races, jumps, quiz, dances and "insuknawr", a traditional mizo game. It was a learning opportunity and a gateway that students could showcase their talents and abilities. The students were tirelessly and enthusiastically participated in all the activities. These days marked as a good memory for all the Bosconians. This Inter-Don Bosco Sports Meet 2023 was concluded with the handing over of the trophies to Don Bosco school Darlawn, the champion from the junior category and Don Bosco school selling from the senior category. The Don Bosco sports meet 2023 drew its closing curtain with the singing of the Don Bosco school anthem which was sung with pride by all the students.
